Designed by Joseph Petzval in 1840, the original 58mm and 85mm Petzval primes were initially photography lenses. Lomography rekindled interest in these lenses with a successful Kickstarter campaign several years ago, constructing them in distinctive copper housings. Now, TLS has also embraced the Petzvals, rehousing them for modern cinema cameras. They are equipping the lenses with cam-driven geared focus and iris rings, and robust stainless steel PL mounts. Ideal for creative portraiture, these lenses offer sharp centres highlighted by swirling bokeh.
